Logo usage guidelines are critical the ensure consistency in future use. I think it is best to consider many options and account for them during the build. When we’ve gotten past the concept phase and into a final logo build, I like to include a one page logo style guide to use as a master document going forward. Corporate brand guidelines are more extensive and will encompass all aspects of a brand voice and appearance. A well designed and carefully considered logo, with branded color options and supporting font usage, will inform many choices as the brand is further defined.
